On March 3, 2015 daybreak prayer, God inspired my mother, “Faith is emitted from prayer. Regardless whether you are old, middle-aged, young, or child, you can all pray. The elderly need not think they no longer can do any holy work because everyone can pray. Prayer is Holy Work. Your goal— entering the Kingdom of Heaven — can only be fueled by power of prayer. Therefore, you must pray very often. With more prayer, your faith will have more power.”
But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62)
Paul says, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”(Phil 3:3-14)
In 2009, the Holy Spirit inspired my mother during prayer, “Drinking poisons the flesh; pride poisons the spiritual life. Pride is the poisonous root of faith. When one has pride, faith will die. King Nebuchadnezzar lost his kingdom solely due to his pride. He was driven away from men to live with the wild beasts. He ate grass like oxen for seven years. You cannot drink. You cannot be proud. In all matters, do according to my words, and be gentle and lowly in heart, just like Me.”
A few years later, my mother prayed and asked God, “How can we become humble? We all desire to be humble and to serve you humbly. But humility is difficult to learn because we are just too weak. I implore God to teach us how to achieve true humility.” The Lord Jesus moved her: “Humility is not hard. Just lower yourself first, then humility will naturally come.” In self-abasement, you will find humility. First lower yourself, then you can become humble.
“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.” (Phil 2:3)
On May 5, 2011, before the sky was lit, we went to the church chapel to pray. Mother entrusted all of the difficult family matters to the Lord, pleading the Lord Jesus Christ to mercifully help her and shed the burdens of her heart. May God enable her to thank God and live joyfully. The Holy Spirit moved her: “Whatever you need, just ask of God. Only ask, then God will give.”
In the morning of February 2, 2012, God inspired my mother, “You are faithfully keeping the daybreak prayers; I am very pleased. You must often seek the filling of the Holy Spirit, ignite your zeal, actively pursue after the Word of God, and determine to fulfill God’s expectation for each person. Then the blessings you seek will surely be found. If you do not pray diligently and your Holy Spirit is not filled, then even though you have received promises (from God), those promises will not be brought to fruition. Whatever God promised will never change. Do not say that it has been a long time; God’s promises have not come true. Therefore, you feel discouraged and hopeless. This is not right. You must have faith in God. Pray and entrust everything to God. God will surely bring His Words to pass, and fulfill everything, grant us His blessings.”
“Always be careful to observe the commandments of God, imploring God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. Because only those that are filled with the Holy Spirit and fear God will be able to put their hope in God to the end. Just as Joseph who was fully convinced of God’s promises. When Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt, God was testing him. Joseph was very patient and longsuffering. During tribulation, he seized onto God and passed the test. In the end, he was able to see the great blessings that God had promised long ago. You must be just like Joseph—whatever God has said, you must carry out.”
In the morning of July 12, 2012, my mother went to participate in the children’s pray at church. During prayer, she heard what sounded like silkworms eating mulberry leaves. Then she saw a vision: In the pitch darkness, many dark green insects were very busy chomping away at green leaves, looking everywhere, never stopping from eating. All of a sudden, light shone down. She clearly saw a worm that was in the middle of eating leaves suddenly freeze! The worm turned light green, then transparent. The longer the light rays shone upon the worm, the longer the worm stopped from eating. My mother was puzzled and asked God, “What is that? How could this happen?”
The Holy Spirit touched my mother, “The light is the light of God. The worms are demons. When the human heart becomes blackened, then the devil will do a lot of work.”She asked, “When the light of God shines down, then the devil cannot move anymore, does that mean he died?” God answered her, “The devil will not die; he is just temporarily immobilized from work. If a person’s heart is not continually shone by the light of God, the devil will continue to do work actively. Therefore, you must often have the light of God shine upon your heart, and then the devil cannot do any work.”
In November, 2012, while my mother was in the middle of prayer, she saw a vision. There were many baby turtle eggs that hatched. They climbed out of the egg pit and struggled hard toward the sea. The Holy Spirit inspired her, “Your faith must be like the turtle. Once you are born, you have to struggle very hard, desperately swimming toward the great sea, so that you can survive. Be careful to keep and do the Word of God. Don’t let yourself go loose even for a moment. Keep running straight ahead! Then you can be saved and enter heaven.”
In November 2012 morning daybreak prayer, when my mother was praying, God inspired her, “People and turtles are the same. You have one goal. Once a turtle hatches, it has to desperately struggle to swim to the depths of the sea, in order to survive. How about people? One must strive hard to enter the heavenly kingdom to be saved. Both will encounter great struggles and multitudes of hardships. Therefore you must endure trials, strive hard to keep God’s words, and then you can enter heaven.”
In November 26, 2012 daybreak prayer, the Holy Spirit moved my mother, “Faith is for a lifetime and prayer is also for a lifetime. Therefore, pray often. If you pray less, then you will be like strangers. But if you pray a lot, then you will gain the fruits of spiritual cultivation. You will not get angry, you will not yell at people, you will have love.”
On November 28, 2012 early morning, we were praying at the chapel. God inspired my mother, “Prayer is the breathing of your soul! If you pray often, then your breathing will be smooth and unhindered. If you don’t pray often, your breathing will be labored, as if gasping for air. The more you pray, the more your faith will become firm and unyielding. Our relationship with God will become intimate, delightful day to day.”
On the morning of November 28, 2012, my mother prayed several times to God. The Holy Spirit moved her: “If you want to be saved, then you must believe in the True Jesus Church! The place of water baptism for the True Jesus Church is the starting point of the race toward the Heavenly Kingdom. Therefore, you must believe in the True Jesus Church in order to even have a chance to be saved. This is because True Jesus Church has the complete truth of salvation and the abidance of the Holy Spirit. After baptism, you must pray for the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit will teach you to discern right from wrong.”
“Remember the beginning of your faith. Think under what circumstances were your ancestors called by God? Did they not search for me when they were suffering? God had compassion on them and chose them to become a part of the True Jesus Church body. When they encountered poverty, diseases, and all kinds of tribulations, they heard God’s salvation plan and believed. So their faith became firm and strong. Unfortunately, some of their second generation became too secular. They were found unacceptable before God. Therefore, you must spend much time to pray often in the Holy Spirit. Then you will taste God’s favor and grace, until forever.”
In the daybreak prayer of February 5, 2013, while my mother was praying for others, the Lord Jesus revealed to her, “Faith is not waiting for God to quickly show his wonderful signs or seeing if God will solve the problems before us before being willing to believe in God. How can we please God or receive great blessings with such attitude? Faith perceives that God is already helping us, even if it is only a small sign, to leap to the belief that the Lord has already rescued us, granted us blessings, and fulfilled all His promises. Thus we pray and give thanks to God in prayer, joyfully living like this each day! Be like Elijah who commanded his servant to look out toward the sea for a sign. The servant said, ‘There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea.’ Then Elijah was fully assured that God had heard his prayer and will pour down rain!” (1 Kings 18:41-46)
“You are the same. Long time ago when you mistakenly sprayed pesticides into your own face, you became blind. You prayed urgently to Me! When you opened your eyes, you found that the darkness before had now become bright. Though it was only a small sign, yet you mustered all your faith and became fully convinced that God will surely restore your sight! Thank God – His grace has come upon you so you may be filled with joy!”
“You must have faith toward God! Give everything to God with thanksgiving, and do all things according to God’s will. I love you all! Surely I will fulfill the words I have spoken to you, guide and lead you, and love you until the very end.”
In February, 2013, around the time of the Lunar New Year, during the morning prayer, my mother saw a vision: “In a large dome-like building, there were a lot of people sitting on individual chair cars. Each chair car can carry only one person and each chair has its own separate track. The chair car moves slowly upward along the track, almost perpendicular to ground. Some are moving ahead; others are behind, all in rows one after another, all moving toward the same goal—the center of the dome. After reaching the end, another person will sit in the chair car and start driving up again.
The chairs all have backs but the backs are in the front. One must grab the edge of the chair in the front to avoid falling down. Therefore, there is nothing behind each person; he cannot rely on anything. He can only grab onto the chair back, lest he falls down. My mother was sitting in the chair car, next to someone who told her, ‘Don’t look back. There’s nothing in the back, only look ahead to the future.”
After a while, my mother saw a sister who was not moving in her chair. She asked her, “Why did you stop?” That person replied, “My chair broke down, so I cannot continue to move forward.” My mother sat for a long time to reach the halfway point. The dome hole is actually very large and can accommodate a lot of people. She dared not to look back; it’s dark behind her. If she did not grab the chair back, she will crash down; this I extremely dangerous.
God inspired her: “The back is empty. Do not look back. Just look forward! With one heart and one mind, concentrate on obeying the Word of God, and strive to enter heaven!”
On March 9, 2013, Sabbath morning prayer service, the Holy Spirit moved my mother, “Don’t be weary in your faith. If you complain and say you are tired, then you will automatically rest and become stagnant and not move forward anymore. You may even fall down and die out. This is like what you saw in the vision where the chair car broke down.”
Then once again she saw people moving slowly upward in the chair car vision as before. God inspired her, “Among animals, the slowest walking is the snail. Of all moving vehicles, the slowest is the chair car. How can we tell if a person’s faith is tired? We can see from whether he is often attending church services or not. Those who are not tired in faith will cherish the opportunity to attend all services. Those who are tired often do not attend services. As time goes by, one will eventually lose his faith, sin against God, and forsake God.”
“How can one maintain his faith so he will not be tired? One must pray very often to be filled by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is like oil. If you pray often, then you are adding fuel and you will have the energy to keep striving forward. Never cease to pray until you reach the end—Heaven.”
On May 23, 2013 daybreak prayer, while praying for God’s worker, my mother asked God, “What should he do? He is very pitiful to face everything by himself.” Then God showed a vision to my mother, like a flash of lightening! Every time my mother mentioned the worker in prayer, then a flash of lightning appeared! Mention again, and another lighting flashes!
When my mother prayed for a certain brother, she asked, “Why can’t he use brotherly love to care for others?” The Holy Spirit inspired her: “He drinks wine, therefore…” God did not finish.
God revealed to my mother, “You should not criticize other people’s faith; everyone is weak. When you talk about the trials others are going through, do you not remember you also have trials and lessons to learn from?” My mother replied, “Of course! I know I also have great weakness too.” But inside her heart she wanted to know what my great weakness is? Then the Holy Spirit moved her: “Your faith is not as strong as it used to be; this is your weakness. You must examine yourself!”
In August 30, 2014, early morning 5 o’clock prayer, I prayed for members under pressure. The Lord Jesus inspired me, “There are many believers who do not have faith to trust and ask God. For example, in matters of marriage, praying for the Holy Spirit, healing for diseases…they do not pray. They think to themselves, ‘If God wants to give then He will give; if God does not want to give, then forget it! It doesn’t matter either way.” This is not correct. We must implore God with supplication, then God will grant it to you.”
On 9/13/14 Sabbath morning daybreak prayer, I was praying for other members. The Holy Spirit inspired me, “His most important work every day is prayer—constant prayer. Then he can go out and do the holy work. He must pray for humility in prayer then I will grant him humility.”
In the Sabbath afternoon of the same day, while I was driving my mother down the mountain, on our way to pick up my niece, I shared the revelation of God during my prayer. While sharing, the Holy Spirit touched my mother saying, “Prayer is to store up oil.”
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming;[a] go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour[b]in which the Son of Man is coming. (Matthew 25:1-13)
